The Sunflower Challenge has some top notch prizes this year to encourage you and your nursery to take part in our two competitions.

Who can paint the best sunflowers?

To get your little Vincent Van Gogh’s stirring their paint pots – we have a fantastic prize to award to the nursery that produces the winning picture.

Sarah Shore – the artist responsible for all the artwork in this website – has agreed to paint a sunflower mural in the winning nursery. I am sure you will agree that a mural by Sarah will certainly add colour and interest to any wall, and to prove it, take a look at this picture. This shows a mural Sarah painted in the waiting room of her local doctor’s surgery.

Who can grow the tallest sunflower?

We have another prize for the nursery that produces the tallest sunflowers this year. The child responsible for the sunflower will win a special edition Sunflower Challenge 2004 t-shirt for every young member of his or her nursery.
