The Sunflower Challenge is open to everyone who is associated with early years care provision.

Whether you are a nursery, a playgroup or a childminder – you all care for young children who, I am sure, would love the chance to grow their own enormous sunflowers and take part in activities focusing on flowers, growth, water and development.

This year Nursery World magazine, the leading magazine for early years care and education professionals, is supporting The Sunflower Challenge by distributing packets of ‘Russian Giant’ seeds on the cover of their March 11 issue.

If you didn’t receive any seeds please email sunflowers@wateraid.org with your name and address, together with the name of your childcare establishment and a packet of seeds will be forwarded to you.
