The Sunflower Challenge is the creation of WaterAid and National Day Nurseries Association. It offers the chance to initiate ideas of growth, development, water and citizenship into the minds of children within early years education while raising much needed funds to further the work of WaterAid.

This year we are providing nurseries with a variety of information and activities to ensure that The Sunflower Challenge can be used as a year-long learning experience.

From planting seeds, to making bird feeders from the matured flower heads – everyone at your nursery can get involved.
